NAC Board is responsible for the vision and quality of NAC’s activities. It discusses and approves NAC’s annual plans and reports, selects beneficiaries for the Artist-in-Residence Programme, recruits and selects NAC’s directors, and monitors their activities.

Members of the 2010–2012 NAC Board:

• Professor Arvydas Šaltenis, Vice-Rector for Arts and Sciences, Vilnius Academy of Arts, appointed for four years;
• Dr Ieva Kuizinienė, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Chair of the Unesco Culture Policy and Culture Management Department, Vilnius Academy of Arts, appointed for four years;
• Ūla Tornau, Curator at the Contemporary Art Center, appointed for three years;
• Mindaugas Gapševičius, Coordinator of the “Migrating Art Academies” project, formerly Senior Lecturer at the Universität der Künste Berlin, appointed for three years;
• Brigita Urmanaitė, Adviser for Culture and Education, Office of the Nordic Council of Ministers in Lithuania, appointed for two years;
• Dr Skaidra Trilupaitytė, Research Officer, Lithuanian Institute for Culture Research, appointed for two years.
